Kubernetes (Helm)¶
Helm mode is for multi-node Kubernetes deployments: production clusters with high availability, autoscaling, and full GitOps integration. The Helm chart packages every VIDAI Server component (gateway, BFF, frontend, Postgres or external-Postgres wiring) as a single installable unit you can manage alongside the rest of your platform.
The admin console you'll spend your days in is the same one every other deployment model uses; only the install surface changes.
How to get the Helm chart¶
The Helm chart is produced on request rather than as a self-service download because every Kubernetes deployment has its own Ingress shape, secrets-management story (Vault, sealed-secrets, native Secrets), and platform opinions. We tune the chart to your environment rather than shipping a generic version that you'd then have to rework.
To request a chart:
- Email [email protected] with your cluster context: K8s version, Ingress controller (nginx, Traefik, AWS ALB, GKE Ingress, etc.), how you manage secrets, whether you want bundled Postgres (an in-cluster StatefulSet) or a managed external database.
- We'll produce a chart + values file matched to your environment and walk through the install on a short call.
Once installed, the gateway and the admin console behave identically to every other deployment model; your operational view of the control plane doesn't change based on what's running underneath.
Where to go next¶
- Install index: comparison of all four deployment models.
- Docker quickstart: the self-service install path for non-Kubernetes environments.
- Getting started: what to do inside the console once you're signed in.
