Performance / binary mode

Performance mode runs VIDAI Server's gateway as a native binary instead of as a container, with Postgres running beside it. It's the right pick for high-throughput production deployments where you want lower latency, slightly lower memory overhead, and tighter control over the gateway process itself.

The admin console you'll spend your days in is the same one the Docker quickstart ships; only the install surface changes. Every page elsewhere in this guide is identical regardless of which deployment model you're running underneath.

How to get a performance bundle

Performance bundles are produced on request rather than as a self-service download. The shape is similar to the quickstart bundle (binaries + a setup.sh + a LICENSES/ directory + a README), but the operational picture (host sizing, systemd unit shape, log routing, Postgres tuning) varies enough that we set up each one with you.

To get one:

  • Email [email protected] with your environment context (target throughput, host OS, Postgres preference: bundled or BYO).
  • We'll send you a sized bundle and arrange a short install call to walk through the host-level pieces.
